Concept artists provided us with concept with shapes to easily identify our characters' personalities.
Eva is our main character.
She is a fragile and sweet girl, very uncomfortable with her condition in general.
To sculpt our characters, we used Zbrush software.
We tried to best translate the soft side of her face, contrasting with the sharper shapes of her cape.
Stan is the father of Eva.
He is a cold and stern man who only thinks about the honor of his family name.
Unlike her daughter, his face and clothes have both sharp shapes to show the gap between them.
The colors and shapes of the egg were chosen to represent freedom and nobility.
Our animations were largely composed of mocap that had to be clean. Our facial expressions were all in keyframes.
But sometimes we had to do without a mocap and do the animation entirely in keyframes.
